Domestic tourists spent 60 billion 511 million 887 thousand lira for this purpose during the mentioned period. SOME TRAVELED FOR HEALTH, SOME FOR BUSINESSThe number of visits made by domestic tourists due to health needs during this period was 1 million 178 thousand. An expenditure of 10 billion 154 million 479 thousand lira was made in these trips. The total overnight stays of domestic tourists on health trips were recorded as 10 million 956 thousand. The expenditure amount for the 208 thousand trips made by domestic tourists for commercial relations and fairs was recorded as 1 billion 600 million 774 thousand lira. A total of 909 thousand overnight stays were made for this purpose.
The expenditure amount for trips made for business or educational meetings, conferences, courses, and seminars was 2 billion 611 million 33 thousand lira. During this period, 349 thousand trips were made for such events, and the total overnight stays for these trips were calculated to be 1 million 24 thousand.
The number of cultural trips reached 94 thousand. The expenditure amount for these trips was 535 million 576 thousand lira. The total number of overnight stays for domestic tourists on cultural trips was recorded as 231 thousand.
