In the fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 15 of the 22 suspects referred to the courthouse were arrested. The suspects, including former Turkey Insurance General Manager Taha Çakmak and Altınbaş Holding Chairman of the Board İnan Altınbaş, were sent to prison, while judicial control decisions were issued for 7 people.
A new development has occurred in the fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The judicial proceedings of 22 suspects who were detained and referred to the courthouse as part of the investigation have been completed. While 15 of the suspects were remanded in custody, 7 people were released under judicial control conditions.
İNAN ALTINBAŞ ALSO AMONG THOSE REMANDED
The court decided to remand Rüstem Karakaya, Burak Poyraz, Ömer Eryılmaz, Osman Saraç, Neda Soydan, Mustafa Zeki Kayahan, Anıl Tokat, Ali Cesur, Furkan Açar, Mehmet Ali Gedik, Taha Çakmak, İnan Altınbaş, Fatih Uğur, Ömer Ejder and Hakan Eryılmaz in custody.
JUDICIAL CONTROL FOR 7 PEOPLE
Selay Turhan İnce, Ebru Avcı, Canan Özdemir, Abdullah Dal, Seda Tarım, Feyza Gözde Özdemir and Erhan Tunç, who appeared before the judge as part of the investigation, were released with judicial control measures applied.
Thus, of the 22 suspects referred to the courthouse, 15 were remanded in custody and a judicial control decision was issued for 7. The investigation is ongoing.
