Özgür Özel made scathing remarks regarding the "for sale haram vehicle" incident, which was displayed and put up for sale in front of the CHP headquarters and later revealed to have been purchased during Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's tenure. Pointing to Kılıçdaroğlu's press advisor Atakan Sönmez, Özel said, "If you appoint someone who has been a hangman of dignity for CHP and our imprisoned friends for years as a press advisor. No decent person would do that. I felt ashamed. If you take a crow as your guide, such things happen to you."
Özgür Özel visited former İzmir Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer and Şenol Aslanoğlu at Buca Prison in İzmir. After the visit, Özel answered questions from journalists and used scathing words regarding the official vehicle incident displayed in front of the CHP headquarters.

Targeting Kılıçdaroğlu with harsh words, Özel said: "Agreeing to run the party without being elected is one thing. If you appoint someone who has been a hitman of honor against the CHP and our imprisoned friends for years as a press advisor, they have only one purpose: to harm the CHP. They went there, placed two cars, and shared a bunch of slanders as if they were true.

One of the cars he placed was purchased during Kemal Bey's time; he wrote false and incorrect things. If there was any vehicle allocation from Aziz İhsan Aktaş, it was done before our administration. All of this has come to light. My biggest regret is that if you appoint someone who has been a hitman of honor against the CHP for years as a press advisor... their only purpose is to harm the CHP.
"SOMEONE WHO LOVES THE PARTY WOULDN'T DO IT"
They placed two vehicles there. They wrote false and incorrect things. When the incident came to light, they said, 'I selected them as examples, in case something like this exists.' Of course, they would do this; someone who loves the party wouldn't do it. A decent person wouldn't do it. Like making fake news, about the vehicles in front of the party... I felt ashamed. Those whose guide is a crow will face such troubles. It saddens all of us."
