In the collision of two cars on the Amasya-Tokat highway, grandfather Salih Çoban and his granddaughter Damla Çoban died. One of the vehicles caught fire, while 4 people inside were rescued at the last moment.
GRANDFATHER AND GRANDDAUGHTER LOST THEIR LIVES
According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 60 YA 491 driven by Salih Çoban (76) and the car with license plate 34 MLY 683 driven by İ.Ç collided at the intersection at the entrance of Yeşilöz village on the Amasya-Tokat highway. In the horrific accident, grandfather Salih Çoban and his granddaughter Damla Çoban (17) lost their lives. The 4 people in the car with license plate 34 MLY 683, which caught fire in the accident, were taken out with the help of those around and were rescued from the fire at the last moment.
Upon the report of the accident, police, emergency health, fire brigade and gendarmerie teams were dispatched. The injured S.Ş. and G.Ş. were taken to Turhal State Hospital and treated. It was learned that they are not in life-threatening condition.
