In the scope of the investigation into the Ahbap Association, the number of detainees has risen to 9 following the operation in which Oğuzhan Uğur was also taken into custody. It was learned that the detained suspects are financial advisors. In the same operation, Emre Kartaloğlu, who served as the head of the Trade and Policy Board established within the CHP's Presidential Candidate Office, was also detained. Kartaloğlu had prepared a report for the association stating that "there is no irregularity."
In the investigation against Ahbap Association, the number of detentions rose to 9 after Oğuzhan Uğur was also taken into custody.
The investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Ahbap Association continues. Previously, 18 suspects, including Haluk Levent, were arrested as part of the inquiry.
FINANCIAL ADVISORS IN CUSTODY
Detention orders were issued for 9 more suspects in the scope of the investigation. Accordingly, Oğuzhan Uğur, Gülgün Öztürk, Suzan Düşküner, Emir Taşar, Emre Kartaloğlu, Hüseyin Küçük, and Fatih Eke were taken into custody. It was learned that two additional wanted individuals have also been apprehended. Those detained are reported to be financial advisors.
"SHADOW MINISTER" HAD PREPARED A REPORT
Among those detained in the investigation is former TÜRMOB President Emre Kartaloğlu, who had prepared a report stating "No irregularities found" for the association following the February 6 earthquakes. It is alleged that Kartaloğlu is being charged due to the report he prepared.
Emre Kartaloğlu serves as the head of the Trade and Policy Board established under the CHP's Presidential Candidate Office.
