An allegation regarding the appointment of a trustee to the Şişli Municipality has caused a significant stir. Following the urban consensus agreement, it was claimed that information regarding numerous individuals, led by Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, having connections to terrorism was received, and that the former CHP leader warned Özgür Özel about this issue, but no changes were made.
Şişli Municipality Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, who was arrested as part of the 'Terror' investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has been sent to prison.
GOVERNOR ERTÜRKMEN APPOINTED AS TRUSTEE
Resul Emrah Şahan was suspended from his position by the Ministry of Interior; subsequently, Şişli District Governor Cevdet Ertürkmen was appointed as the trustee of Şişli Municipality.

While the appointment of a trustee to the CHP municipality has caused a significant public reaction, journalist Nuray Başaran, who participated in the KRT live broadcast, made an allegation that will create a buzz on the agenda regarding the issue.
"NO CHANGES WERE MADE DESPITE WARNINGS"
Başaran stated, "After the city consensus agreement, information related to terrorist connections came to Kılıçdaroğlu. The name at the top of this list was the Şişli Municipality Mayor who was arrested today. Kılıçdaroğlu had warned Özgür Özel about this. Despite these warnings, no changes were made."
