It has been claimed that Amedspor, the new team in the Süper Lig, offered Mauro Icardi, whose contract with Galatasaray has ended, an annual salary of 7 million euros. SURPRISE MOVE FROM AMEDSPOR
Amedspor, one of the new teams in the Trendyol Süper Lig, has reportedly made attempts to add Mauro Icardi to its squad, whose contract with Galatasaray has expired. The details of the offer made for the Argentine star, who will become a free agent at the end of June, drew attention.
NEGATIVE RESPONSE FROM ICARDI
According to information reported by Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Amedspor submitted a formal offer to Mauro Icardi through his agent. However, it was stated that the Argentine goal-scorer did not respond positively to this proposal and turned down the offer.
ANNUAL OFFER OF 7 MILLION EUROS
According to the claim, the Diyarbakır representative offered the star player an annual salary of 7 million euros. Commenting on the matter, Yağız Sabuncuoğlu said, "It has been persistently denied, but I believe what I saw with my own eyes. Amedspor made Icardi an offer of 7 million euros per year. Icardi is not considering it at the moment."
NEGOTIATIONS WITH GALATASARAY CONTINUE
Meanwhile, it was reported that Galatasaray's management is also continuing its efforts to keep Mauro Icardi at the club. The yellow-reds are said to have offered the star player an annual salary between 4 and 5 million euros with a 1+1 year contract. Icardi's camp reportedly has a salary expectation of around 7 million euros.

In his assessment of the ongoing negotiations with Galatasaray, Sabuncuoğlu said, "Galatasaray, which has offered a new contract to Mauro Icardi, has not yet received a response. Icardi wants the terms to be improved. Galatasaray, on the other hand, does not plan to make any significant changes to its offer."
