“LOVE OF FOLK SONGS BEGINS WITH A LULLABY”
In the program, Yalçınkaya also spoke about his connection with music and explained that his love of folk songs dates back to his childhood. The famous chef said, “Most people love folk songs; it is in our genes. The food gene begins with mother’s milk. Music is the same. For someone my age, if you are a child in the village, it begins with your mother’s lullaby. In the minibus we take when going down to the city, a folk song is playing. You and friends like you are among those who make people love folk songs.”
