Minister Göktaş, in a written statement, noted that Home Care Assistance, one of the family-oriented care service models, was implemented in 2006 to primarily support disabled individuals alongside their families. Emphasizing that they prioritize care being provided at home in a way that preserves the family integrity of disabled individuals, Göktaş stated that with Home Care Assistance, they support the preservation and strengthening of family unity by allowing disabled individuals to live with their family or relatives without being separated from their living environment.
9,077 LIRA PAID PER BENEFICIARY
Stating that a monthly payment of 9,077 lira is made per beneficiary under the Home Care Assistance, Minister Göktaş used the following expressions: "As a ministry, we are developing policies with a rights-based perspective to ensure that disabled individuals fully access their fundamental rights such as education, health, security, and employment. We strive to reach every individual in society with the holistic and fair social service models we have developed. This month, we have started to deposit a total of 4.9 billion lira in Home Care Assistance into accounts for fully dependent citizens and their families. Currently, 544,000 of our citizens benefit from Home Care Assistance. Within the framework of our vision for the Century of Turkey, we will continue our efforts to ensure that rights-based social assistance in the field of disability is sustainable with a transparent understanding."
