After the US attacks on southern Iran, Bandar Abbas International Airport was closed until further notice. Iran announced that it struck military facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait in retaliation.

Following the US attacks on Iran, it was reported that Hormozgan Airport in Iran's Hormozgan province has been closed until further notice.

According to the semi-official Mehr News Agency, Hormozgan Airport Director Kazem Tevessuli said that due to current conditions in the south of the country, Hormozgan Airport has been closed until further notice.

Tevessuli stated that necessary announcements will be made if the airport resumes operations.

US LAUNCHED ATTACKS AT NIGHT

The US launched attacks at night on the cities of Sirik and Bandar Abbas near the Strait of Hormuz in southern Iran, as well as the cities of Mahshahr, Bandar Imam, and Hamidiyeh in Hormozgan province.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that more than 80 military targets were struck in retaliation for Iran's attacks on commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

IRAN'S RETALIATION WAS NOT DELAYED

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that in response to the US night attacks on the south of the country, it targeted 85 military facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
