"MILITARY OPERATIONS WILL NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE"

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot also made a statement after the meeting. In his statement, Barrot said, "We wanted to initiate a meeting with the Iranian Foreign Minister because we believe there is no definitive military solution to Iran's nuclear issue. Military operations may postpone this problem, but they cannot eliminate it."

"EXTREMELY IMPORTANT"

British Foreign Minister David Lammy stated, "We also call on Iran to continue discussions with the United States. This is a dangerous moment, and it is extremely important that this conflict does not lead to a regional escalation."

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul remarked, "Today's good outcome gives the impression that the Iranian side is ready to continue discussing all important issues in principle. It is important for us Europeans to be involved in this, but above all, it is crucial for the United States to be involved in these negotiations and in finding a solution." The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, also commented, "We agreed to discuss not only nuclear issues but also broader topics and to continue the negotiations."
