Iran has demanded approximately $270 billion in war reparations for the damages caused by US-Israeli attacks. Government Spokesperson Muhajerani stated that this figure is a preliminary assessment, explaining that the compensation covers civilian losses, infrastructure, and economic damages. The Tehran administration has brought the issue of reparations to the table as one of the most critical topics in negotiations.

Iranian Government Spokesperson Fatma Muhacerani stated that the war compensation resulting from US-Israel attacks is estimated to be around 270 billion dollars according to initial estimates.

DAMAGE ASSESSMENT SHARED FOR THE FIRST TIME

Speaking to the Russian news agency RIA Novosti, Muhacerani indicated that the damages caused by US-Israel attacks were calculated by relevant institutions through preliminary work. Muhacerani expressed that the war compensation is approximately 270 billion dollars according to initial determinations, and the exact figure will become clear in the upcoming process.

A PRIORITY TOPIC AT THE NEGOTIATION TABLE

The Iranian spokesperson said that the issue of war compensation has been frequently brought up both in the discussions in Islamabad and by President Masoud Pezeshkian on different platforms. The Tehran administration emphasized that this issue is one of the most important topics of the negotiation process.

INCLUDES CIVILIAN LOSSES

Muhacerani stated that the requested compensation covers not only infrastructure and economic damages but also civilian losses. In this context, it was expressed that along with damaged buildings, workplaces, and factories, the rights of the female students who lost their lives in the attack on the school in Minab are also included.

WAS AMONG THE CEASEFIRE CONDITIONS

The Tehran administration announced on April 8, when the ceasefire with the US was declared, that among the 10 items to be discussed in the negotiations was the condition of calculating and fully compensating the damages given to Iran.
