Iran's Armed Forces Commander Ali Abdullahi issued harsh statements, stating that the country is fully prepared against threats from the US and Israel. As tensions remain high after the 12-day Iran-Israel conflict, the latest statement from Iran conveyed a message of a "painful response" to potential attacks.
Ali Abdullahi, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, the unit managing the war for the Iranian Armed Forces, announced that they will respond decisively to any threat against the country's security and territorial integrity.
In a written statement published by Fars News Agency, Abdullahi praised the sacrifices of armed forces personnel who took part in the 12-day war between Iran and Israel in June 2025.
Abdullahi stated that the Iranian army and security forces put up a significant fight in the conflicts that began with Israeli attacks, and expressed that the country's defense capacity is ready for any threat.
"EVERY TYPE OF THREAT WILL BE RESPONDED TO DECISIVELY"
Abdullahi also touched upon the latest US attacks on Iran, emphasizing that the armed forces are in full readiness.
In his statement, Abdullahi said, "The Armed Forces, with full readiness, high alert, and strong intelligence capacity, will respond decisively to any threat against the country's security, independence, and territorial integrity with effective, painful, and regret-inducing operations."
The Iranian commander also thanked citizens who have participated in support rallies held for approximately 100 days, stating that public solidarity is an important source of strength for the country.

3 PEOPLE INJURED IN TEHRAN IN US ATTACKS
Meanwhile, Tehran Emergency Services Chief Mohammad Ismail Tavakkoli announced that 3 people were injured in the capital Tehran in the latest US attacks.
Tavakkoli did not share details about the health conditions of the injured but reported that necessary interventions were made in the region following the attacks.
12-DAY IRAN-ISRAEL WAR
On June 13, 2025, Israel launched large-scale attacks targeting nuclear facilities in various cities of Iran, as well as the military's top command echelon.
In the attacks, the Iranian Chief of Staff, the Revolutionary Guards Commander-in-Chief, some senior military officials, and 9 nuclear scientists lost their lives.
The US, which openly supports Israel, attacked Iran's three nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan on June 22. Tensions in the region continue to be closely monitored with mutual statements and military activity.
