The war between Iran and the US has escalated. Iran targeted a US base in Jordan with ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones. CENTCOM stated in its announcement that 2 US soldiers were killed, 4 were wounded, and 1 soldier is missing.
Iran targeted a US military base in Jordan with ballistic missiles and kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). In a statement by the US Central Command (CENTCOM), it was reported that there were casualties.
2 US SOLDIERS KILLED
The statement included the following: "On July 17, in Jordan, two US soldiers were killed in action while US Central Command (CENTCOM) and allied forces were defending against Iran's ballistic missile and unmanned aerial vehicle attacks. Additionally, one soldier is currently missing.
Four American soldiers were transported to hospitals in Jordan. They were later discharged. Soldiers with minor injuries returned to their duties.
Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will not provide additional information, including the identities of the fallen warriors, for 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified."
