Iranian Army Spokesman Mohammad Akraminia responded to US President Donald Trump's decision to postpone planned strikes on Iran. The spokesman said, "If the enemy acts foolishly again and falls into the trap of the Zionist regime (Israel), attacking Iran, new fronts will be opened with new tools and methods."

Following US President Donald Trump's announcement that he ordered the postponement of planned new strikes on Iran at the request of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, a new front threat has emerged from Iran.

"NEW FRONTS WILL BE OPENED"

According to the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA), Ekreminiya responded to US threats against Iran in a speech at Veliasr Square in the capital Tehran.

Ekreminiya stated that respecting the Iranian nation and the country's legal rights is the only way out for the "enemy," adding, "If the enemy acts foolishly again, falls into the trap of the Zionist regime (Israel), and attacks Iran, new fronts will be opened with new tools and methods."

"THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ WILL NOT BE AS IT WAS BEFORE THE WAR"

Ekreminiya pointed to the dominance of the Iranian Armed Forces over the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the status of the strait will not be as it was in the pre-war period.

Ekreminiya expressed that the Iranian Armed Forces view the ceasefire process similarly to the war process and are making preparations, adding that his country cannot be besieged.

TRUMP HAD ANNOUNCED THAT THE ATTACKS WERE POSTPONED

US President Donald Trump had announced in a statement on his social media account that he ordered the postponement of planned new strikes on Iran.

In his statement, Trump said, "The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, and the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, requested that I postpone the military strike on Iran planned for tomorrow."

"THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF A DEAL"

Stating that the request was made due to ongoing negotiations, Trump said, "In their view, the reason is that a deal acceptable to all countries in the Middle East and other regions, as well as the US, will be reached."

Reiterating his stance that Iran should not possess nuclear weapons, Trump stated, "Most importantly, this deal will ensure that Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon."

Trump also said, "Out of respect for these leaders, I have instructed US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine, and the US military not to carry out the attack planned against Iran tomorrow. However, I have also instructed them to be prepared to immediately launch a full-scale and massive attack against Iran if an acceptable deal is not reached."
