As the US-Israel-Iran war continues, the first Hajj pilgrimage caravan from Iran to the holy lands was welcomed with great enthusiasm in a ceremony held in Mecca. During the ceremony for the pilgrims arriving from Golestan Province, rose petals were scattered, and flowers and sweets were offered. The welcome, dominated by a spiritual atmosphere, became a symbol of Islamic brotherhood and the unity of the Ummah.
The first group to depart from Iran to perform the pilgrimage of Hajj left Imam Khomeini International Airport on Tuesday, April 28, heading to Medina. Consisting of approximately 260 pilgrims, they reached their hotel in Medina in the evening.
The welcome ceremony, held under the shadow of the 67-day US-Israel-Iran war, featured striking scenes.
