The newly elected TFF President will serve until June 2027.

The Ordinary Financial and Elective General Assembly Meeting of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) will be held in Ankara. The meeting will take place at the JW Marriott Hotel in Ankara and will start at 11:00. In addition to the financial general assembly, the presidential election will also be held at the meeting. There are 321 delegates who have the right to vote in the election.

According to the TFF's General Assembly call, a simple majority (161 delegates) will be required for the first meeting to be convened. If a majority cannot be achieved on the first day, the general assembly can be convened the next day with one-third of the total number of delegates (107). If there is still no majority in the second session, the general assembly will be held on July 26 regardless of the majority.

The TFF announced on July 12, after the completion of the application period for the presidential election on July 11, that the applications of the current president Mehmet Büyükekşi, Servet Yardımcı, and İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu have been accepted.

Servet Yardımcı, who announced on July 10 that his candidacy application has been accepted, stated on July 11 through his social media account that he has withdrawn from the presidential race. In order for these 3 candidates to participate in the presidential election, they need to submit wet-signed support from one-fifth of the delegates (65 delegates) to the General Assembly Board on the day of the congress. Each delegate can sign for one presidential candidate. The newly elected TFF President will serve until June 2027.
