In the Galatasaray fan group UltrAslan, a crisis broke out after the slogan chanted by tribune leader Sebahattin Şirin while he was being taken for a health check. Following the ensuing disputes, 40 representative offices announced their departure from the group, while UltrAslan Europe declared it had decided to end all its activities.
Notable developments have occurred within Galatasaray's supporter group UltrAslan. Tribune leader Sebahattin Şirin chanted "Freedom for Mr. Öcalan!" while being taken for a health check. While some people considered this statement "irony," other segments reacted strongly to Şirin. Following the events, some representative offices within UltrAslan also showed opposition to the management.
40 REPRESENTATIVE OFFICES ANNOUNCE THEIR DEPARTURE
Following the controversies, 40 representative offices within UltrAslan announced their decision to leave the group. The representative offices operating in different regions stated that they have ended their activities after the recent developments. It was noted that the representative offices acted in line with a common stance.
ALL ACTIVITIES IN EUROPE HAVE BEEN TERMINATED
The crisis also affected UltrAslan's European structure. UltrAslan Europe announced that it has terminated its activities in line with the common decision of all European representative offices.
In the statement made, the following expressions were used: "In line with the recent developments, with the common decision of all our EUROPEAN representative offices, all our activities have been terminated as of now."
