Fenerbahçe Head Coach İsmail Kartal took responsibility after the 2-1 derby loss to Beşiktaş in Kadıköy. Apologizing to the yellow-navy fans, Kartal said, 'All the responsibility lies with me and my team. We saddened the fans.'
In the 4th week of the Trendyol Super League, Fenerbahçe lost 2-1 to Beşiktaş at home. The yellow-navy team took the lead with Milan Skriniar's goal, but Beşiktaş came back with goals from Rıdvan Yılmaz and Dusan Vlahovic to win the derby.
