STATEMENT FROM İSMAİLAĞA
İsmailağa Mosque Foundation for Knowledge and Service issued a written statement regarding the allegations in some press and social media outlets about a jewelry business operating in Fatih Çarşamba.
In the statement made by the foundation, it was noted that recent developments regarding a jewelry business in Fatih Çarşamba have been used as a pretext to serve the public with baseless news that some foundations and associations affiliated with the İsmailağa community have invested in this business, entrusted gold to it, and suffered financial loss.
"COMPLETELY UNTRUE"
The statement said: "These allegations, which have been intensely voiced on social media and various platforms by certain individuals and circles who have recently made false accusations against our community, are completely false and nothing but slander."
In the statement, it was emphasized that presenting these news, which are not based on any research or verification, to the public as if they were true causes misinformation in society, and it added: "Such false rhetoric that misleads the public and aims to damage the reputation of our community creates a ground for unnecessary debate, polarization, and provocation in society."
The statement noted the following:
"Legal proceedings have been initiated regarding the false attributions and shares, which are understood to have been made with the aim of overshadowing the favorable atmosphere created by two important international certificate ceremonies we organized with the participation of scholars from different parts of the world. All our legal rights regarding those responsible for this process aimed at discrediting our community will be pursued with determination."
