According to a report by the Lebanese official agency NNA, the Israeli attacks targeted the Hureyk neighborhood of Dahiye. A brief statement from the Israeli army indicated that infrastructure targets in the area, allegedly belonging to Hezbollah, were being targeted.

Adraee, who said, "Save your lives and evacuate your homes immediately," requested that residents of the Burc el-Baracine and Hades neighborhoods head towards Mount Lebanon via the Beirut-Damascus road, while those living in the Hureyk and Shiyah neighborhoods should go north via the Beirut-Trablos road. The Israeli spokesman threatened, "It is forbidden to go south. Any movement towards the south could endanger your life."
