A fire broke out at a water treatment plant owned by the Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration, originating from electrical panels. Firefighters who arrived at the scene upon notification from employees brought the flames under control before they could spread to buildings and silos. No injuries were reported, and an investigation has been launched into the incident.

In Eskişehir, smoke began to rise from the electrical panels inside a building next to the silos of the water treatment facilities belonging to Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration General Directorate, located on the Alpu road.

IMMEDIATE INTERVENTION

Upon employees noticing the situation and reporting it to the 112 Emergency Call Center, fire brigade and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire was extinguished before it could spread thanks to the rapid intervention of the fire department.

It was a relief that no one was affected by the smoke or injured in the incident. Police teams have launched an investigation into the fire.
