The US has begun constructing a massive base for military and civilian forces in the Reim area along the Gaza border under President Donald Trump's plan. The base will be equipped with a command-and-control tower and mobile structures; efforts coordinated with Israel are expected to be completed within a few months.
The Israeli press reported that the US has taken action to establish a new military and civilian headquarters on the Gaza border. It was suggested that the base will play a critical role in implementing Donald Trump's Gaza plan. The new US base, allegedly beginning construction on the Gaza border, is planned to serve as a coordination center for international forces. The project is stated to be carried out in full cooperation with Israel.
According to a report by the Israeli-based Israel Hayom newspaper, the camp planned to be established in the Reim region is intended to serve as the headquarters for military and civilian forces to be deployed in the area under Trump's Gaza plan. It was noted that the base in question will replace the currently used base in Kiryat Gat.
PREPARATIONS FOR A NEW HEADQUARTERS ON THE GAZA BORDER
The report indicated that infrastructure work has begun for a base to be built on the Gaza border to advance Trump's plan. It was also stated that a tower for command and control activities is planned to be constructed within this framework.
It was mentioned that the US has initiated tender processes for the base project, and tenders have also been opened for the supply of mobile structures to be used as headquarters until the permanent structures are completed.
COORDINATED WITH ISRAEL
According to assessments by security sources, the construction of the new US base is continuing in full coordination with Israel. The Israeli Ministry of Defense and the Israeli military are reported to be responsible for logistical support and coordination on the ground.

While Israeli security circles assess that the base could become operational within a few months, it was noted that under current conditions, the possibility of a resumption of clashes in Gaza is considered higher than the likelihood of Hamas being disarmed.
SOME COUNTRIES AGREE TO SEND TROOPS
The report also reminded that Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, and Albania have agreed to join the International Stability Force and send troops to the region. It was stated that Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Azerbaijan have also announced they might join the initiative.
However, it was noted that no military units have been deployed to the region so far.
Meanwhile, it was indicated that Israel has not allowed the Palestinian technocratic committee, planned to take over the administration of Gaza, to enter the region.
