The Israeli army raided the town of Jabata al-Khashab in the northern countryside of Quneitra province in southern Syria, detaining 2 people.
According to the Syrian state television channel Al-Ikhbariya, Israeli soldiers raided the town of Jabata al-Khashab and searched numerous homes.
2 PEOPLE DETAINED
During the raid, 2 people were detained by Israeli soldiers. Following the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime, the Israeli army had constructed 10 bases and military points in the Daraa and Quneitra provinces it occupied in southern Syria, violating the "Disengagement of Forces Agreement" signed in 1974.
According to a previous statement by Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, the Israeli army carried out more than 1000 airstrikes and approximately 400 ground raids on various parts of Syria between December 8, 2024, and July 18, 2025.
