Israeli soldiers confessed to deliberately killing children in Gaza.

19.12.2024 07:00

A chilling confession has come from Israeli soldiers in the Netzarim Corridor, which divides the Gaza Strip. It has been reported that in the region, everyone is targeted without distinction between civilians, and every Palestinian who dies, even if they are a child, is recorded as a "terrorist." A commander serving in the 252nd Brigade of the Israeli army stated regarding the established "death zone," "The forces on the ground call this the 'body line.'"

The Israeli soldiers in the Netzarim Corridor, which divides the Gaza Strip in two, admitted that everyone is targeted in the region without distinction between civilians, and that every Palestinian who dies, even if they are children, is recorded as a "terrorist."

The Israeli army forcibly displaced all Palestinians living near the Netzarim Corridor, which is 7 kilometers wide and cuts off the connection between northern and southern Gaza, extending from the Israeli border to the Mediterranean coast. After October 7, 2023, Israel destroyed the homes of local residents to build military roads and positions in the corridor it created.

EVERY PALESTINIAN WHO DIES IS COUNTED AS A "TERRORIST"

According to Haaretz, although the command echelon of the Israeli army denies the existence of a "death zone" created in the Netzarim Corridor, the accounts of Israeli soldiers reveal that every Palestinian approaching the area is killed by being counted as a "terrorist."

"BODIES ARE NOT COLLECTED"

A commander serving in the 252nd Brigade of the Israeli army told Haaretz, "The forces on the ground call this a 'body line.'" He continued, "After the clashes, bodies are not collected, which attracts packs of dogs that come to eat them. In Gaza, people know not to approach the places where you see these dogs."

"CIVILIANS ARE ALSO COUNTED AS TERRORISTS"

A senior Israeli officer serving in the same brigade stated, "The brigade commander designated this area as a 'death zone.' Anyone who enters is shot." Another officer from the 252nd Brigade, who was recently discharged from the Israeli army, emphasized that the "death zone" in the Netzarim Corridor extends to where snipers can shoot. He stated, "We kill civilians there, and they are counted as terrorists." The Israeli officer added, "The statements of the Israeli army spokesperson regarding casualty numbers have turned this into a competition among units. If the 99th Brigade kills 150 (people), the next unit targets 200."

A senior reserve commander who recently returned from the Netzarim Corridor noted that calling the Israeli army "the most moral army in the world" is nothing more than exonerating Israeli soldiers who "know very well what they are doing" in Gaza.

"EVERYONE WHO ENTERS THE NETZARIM CORRIDOR GETS A BULLET TO THE HEAD"

A soldier serving in the 252nd Brigade stated, "The order was clear. Anyone who crosses the bridge and enters the (Netzarim) corridor gets a bullet to the head." He reported that when soldiers noticed someone approaching from the south, they opened intense fire as if it were a major attack, saying, "We continued to shoot at the corpse for about one or two minutes. The people around me were shooting and laughing."

"EVERYONE WHO CROSSES THE LINE IS A TERRORIST, NO EXCEPTION"

The soldier, who said the person they killed was a child around 16 years old, later learned that this person was not a Hamas member but just a civilian. The Israeli soldier stated that the battalion commanders congratulated them that evening, claiming they had "killed a terrorist," saying, "The commander said, 'Everyone who crosses the line is a terrorist, no exception, no civilians. Everyone is a terrorist.' This deeply disturbed me. Is this why I left my home to sleep in a building full of rats? To shoot unarmed people?"

Another officer in the 252nd Brigade stated that the Israeli army announced "more than 200 Hamas members had been killed, but only 10 of them were confirmed to be Hamas members." Another soldier recounted that four unarmed individuals were walking normally, and after being spotted by a drone, a tank opened fire with its machine gun, resulting in the deaths of three of them.

MISSILE ATTACK ON TWO CHILDREN AND AN ADULT

The fourth person had their clothes removed and was placed in a cage, and the soldiers passing by spat on this person, the soldier recounted, "This was disgusting. Eventually, a soldier came, pointed a gun at his head, interrogated him, and released him. This person was just trying to reach his uncles in northern Gaza." A soldier from the 99th Brigade also recounted that an unarmed adult with two children was attacked by a war helicopter with missiles, despite their claims of crossing a "forbidden line." The soldier said, "Who thinks it's legitimate to fire missiles at children? And with a helicopter? This is pure evil."

ISRAEL IS OPERATING OUTSIDE OF PROTOCOLS IN GAZA

In a report by Haaretz, it was emphasized that the testimonies of Israeli soldiers reveal that "unprecedented powers" have been granted to army commanders, and it was suggested that the army's ability to carry out attacks in many places has led to a significant expansion of the powers of brigade commanders.

The report noted that some sources indicated that units in the Israeli army operate "like independent militias not constrained by standard military protocols."

A senior officer from the 252nd Brigade told Haaretz, "Brigade commanders now have almost unlimited firepower authority in conflict zones," stating, "A battalion commander can order attacks with drones, and a brigade commander can initiate (an attack)."
