In the investigation of terrorism and corruption, 91 suspects, including Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, were referred to the courthouse after their statements were taken. İmamoğlu began to give his testimony to the prosecutor regarding the allegations against him. It was learned that 34 prosecutors have been assigned to interrogate the suspects.

On the other hand, the Governorship announced that the roads leading to the Çağlayan Courthouse will be closed until 08:00 tomorrow morning. According to the statement from the Governorship, the roads closed between March 22 at 16:00 and March 23 at 08:00 are as follows:

- From the intersection of Taş Ocağı Street and Kurşun Street towards the courthouse and all roads leading to this street,
- All roads leading to Şevket Paşa Street from the intersection of Eğitim Street and Esin Street-Manolya Street,
- Piyalepaşa Boulevard D-100 North Junctions towards the courthouse,
- Intersection of Vatan Street and Şevket Paşa Street,
- Intersection of Kağıthane Street and Şevket Paşa Street,
- Intersection of Abide-i Hürriyet Street and Şevket Paşa Street,
- Intersection of Akgül Street and Engin Street,
- Intersection of Dr. Cemil Bengü Street and Funda Street,
- Intersection of Taş Ocağı Street and Yurt Street,
- Çağlayan Tunnel Inner Junction towards the courthouse,
- Yeniyol Street,
- D100 North Çağlayan Side Road Junctions,

METRO STATION CLOSED
On the other hand, Metro Istanbul announced that metro services will not stop at the Çağlayan station. In the statement, it was said, "In accordance with the decision taken by the Istanbul Governorship, as of 17:00 today, until further notice, the M7 Yıldız-Mahmutbey Metro Line Çağlayan station has been closed for operation. Vehicles will continue their journey without stopping at the Çağlayan station."
THE OPERATION IN WHICH İMAMOĞLU WAS DETAINED
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation against IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and 99 suspects for the crimes of "being a leader of a criminal organization," "being a member of a criminal organization," "extortion," "bribery," "qualified fraud," "illegally obtaining personal data," and "interfering with a tender." Additionally, an investigation was launched against İmamoğlu, IMM Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, and Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, among 7 suspects, for the crime of "aiding the PKK/KCK terrorist organization."
Following the detention orders, law enforcement agencies took action, and 91 suspects, including Ekrem İmamoğlu, IMM Presidential Advisor Murat Ongun, Beylikdüzü Mayor Murat Çalık, Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, and singer Ercan Saatçi, were detained.
