The President of the United States, Donald Trump, who took on the mediation role to end the war between Ukraine and Russia, made an interesting proposal. Trump asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to transfer half of Ukraine's rare earth elements to the U.S. in exchange for military support. Zelensky, however, refused to sign the draft agreement.
