The pre-wedding interview of the Uzbek bride, who disappeared with 5 million TL worth of gold after a three-day, three-night wedding in the Milas district of Muğla, has emerged. The young woman's words, 'I didn't want to have a wedding in Uzbekistan because here we are going to have one for 3 days,' drew attention. The bride, who later went to the police willingly, admitted that she took 20 quarter gold coins and 226 thousand TL, while claiming that the other jewelry was with her father-in-law.
A new detail has emerged in the case of the missing bride and million-dollar jewelry that surfaced after a wedding lasting three days and three nights, held in the Çomakdağ Kızılağaç neighborhood of Muğla's Milas district.
Footage has emerged of M.C., a Uzbek national who married M.A. from Milas, speaking about the wedding to be held in Turkey in an interview she gave before the wedding.
"I DID NOT WANT TO HAVE THE WEDDING IN UZBEKISTAN"
M.C., answering questions directed at her before the wedding, used striking statements while explaining why she wanted the wedding in Turkey. The young woman said, "I did not want to have the wedding in Uzbekistan, because here we will have it for 3 days."
It was noteworthy that these words emerged after the bride left the house following the magnificent three-day, three-night wedding and it was alleged that millions of lira worth of jewelry had disappeared.
SHE DISAPPEARED AFTER THE WEDDING
The wedding of M.A. and M.C. took place on August 19 in Çomakdağ Kızılağaç neighborhood. The wedding, which lasted three days and three nights in accordance with local traditions, also featured night oil wrestling events.
It was alleged that after the wedding, M.C. left the house, and the gold and jewelry items given to her could not be found. In initial statements, the value of the missing jewelry was stated to be approximately 5 million TL.
Following the incident, police teams launched an investigation upon the complaint filed.

M.C., who was being sought, went to the police station of her own free will on September 4 and gave a statement. It was learned that M.C. admitted in her statement to taking 20 quarter gold coins and 226 thousand TL, and stated that the other gold was with her father-in-law. The young woman also claimed that the phone given to her was presented as a gift for use.
M.C. also alleged that her husband and father-in-law made threats and insults against her and her mother, and she filed complaints against both of them.
