Gulustan Kurt, who had a finalized prison sentence of 64 years and 6 months, was caught during a police raid while live streaming in Esenler, Istanbul. Kurt's shock at the moment she looked through the door, after a person in the broadcast warned her with the words "Hurrem's door is knocking; don't open it, Hurrem," and the police entering the house were reflected in the live stream.
The incident occurred on Friday, July 31, in the Nene Hatun Neighborhood of Esenler. Teams from the Beyoglu Patrol Teams Headquarters tracked down Gulustan Kurt as part of their efforts to catch wanted individuals.
Investigations revealed that Kurt was wanted due to a total of 64 years and 6 months in prison sentences issued by various courts. Police teams identified Kurt's location and put her under surveillance.
THEY WARNED, "DON'T OPEN IT, HURREM"
While Kurt was live streaming on her social media account, police teams moved in for the operation. When the door knocked, as Kurt called out "Who is it?", a person in the live stream warned, "Hurrem's door is knocking; don't open it, Hurrem."
Kurt's shock when she saw the police through the peephole was also reflected in the live stream.

After Kurt opened the door, police teams entered the house. The arrest moments were captured second by second in the ongoing live broadcast.
Another person in the broadcast reacted with the words, "Hurrem is gone. They got Hurrem. They took her." Meanwhile, Kurt's phone fell to the floor. After picking up her phone, Kurt turned off the live stream and was taken to the police station.
215 CRIMINAL RECORDS FOUND
During police interrogation, it was determined that Gulustan Kurt had 215 criminal records, mostly for theft.
It was found that Kurt was wanted by courts in Istanbul, Bursa, and Izmir for various theft crimes, as well as forgery of official documents and making false statements to the population directorate.
SENT TO PRISON
After police procedures, Gulustan Kurt was referred to the courthouse and was arrested and sent to prison by the court.
