Snakes sunbathing in a herd in the 'Snake Spring' area, located 20 kilometers from the district center of Yüksekova in Hakkari, resemble Brazil's 'Snake Island.' The snakes, which come out into open areas especially when people are absent, pose no harm.
The harmless snakes in the 'Yılan Pınarı' region between the Yürekli and Karabağ villages of Hakkari's Yüksekova district both frighten and amaze those who see them.
IT REMINDS OF BRAZIL'S 'SNAKE ISLAND'
The snakes, found in swarms along the road, resemble Brazil's 'Snake Island'. Mazlum Gürür, stating that the snakes, which especially come out to open areas when humans are absent, are harmless, said, "We had the chance to see the snakes that emerge in March and April. These snakes are completely harmless; on the contrary, they are beneficial creatures for nature."
"OUR REQUEST FROM OUR PEOPLE IS NOT TO HARM THESE CREATURES"
Gürür continued his words as follows: "Our request from our people is not to harm these creatures. We also came with our children and had a nice day. The Yılan Pınarı region continues to attract the attention of nature enthusiasts with both its natural structure and these extraordinary snake sightings."
