The decision of the Ministry of Trade for barber, hairdresser, and beauty salons to be closed one day a week officially started to be implemented in barbershops as of yesterday, and from next week, hairdressers will also not provide services on Sundays. Speaking about the decision that has caused great reactions from both brides and grooms as well as the tradesmen, President of the Hairdressers Association, Sabit Akkaya, said, "Why on Sundays? They should do it on Mondays, which is the dead day of the week."

The Ministry of Trade had imposed a requirement for barber shops, hairdressers, and beauty salons to be closed one day a week. According to the survey results, Sunday was chosen as the day of closure, which made both the bride and groom and the shop owners unhappy.
