Due to economic difficulties, Garip Poultry's "Lades" brand, which went bankrupt, was put up for auction for 42 million 395 thousand TL.
As the economic difficulties in the poultry sector deepen with news of concordat and bankruptcy, another noteworthy development has occurred. The "Lades" brand belonging to Garip Tavukçuluk, based in Adana, has been put up for sale through enforcement.
ONCE THE EXPORT CHAMPION OF AN ERA
Garip Tavukçuluk, which has a history of 40 years and was once prominent as the export champion of Adana, declared concordat in 2019 due to financial problems it faced. Following the process, the company went bankrupt.
SALE OF 42 MILLION TL
According to the announcement published by the Adana 1st General Enforcement Office, all rights belonging to the "Lades" brand, registered on different dates and covering various commodities, will be offered for sale by auction. The total estimated value of the brand has been determined as 42 million 395 thousand TL. While it is stated that similar developments may occur due to the contraction in the sector and rising costs, the sales process is being closely monitored.
