Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni showed her impatience while waiting for President Biden and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to open the third day of the NATO Summit on Thursday morning. While talking to Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Meloni looked up at the ceiling, rolled her eyes, and touched her arm to indicate that she wasn't wearing a watch. When someone took out their phone to check the time, Meloni rolled her eyes again and noticed the cameras.

Meloni's reaction caught the attention of some observers. A Financial Times reporter noted that Meloni displayed her "top-level eye-rolling skills." Biden and Stoltenberg finally opened the summit at 10:40. Biden left the White House about 20 minutes after the event started. The White House also postponed Biden's solo press conference to 6:30 p.m.

This summer wasn't the first time Biden kept Meloni waiting. Last month, he was the last leader to arrive at the G7 summit in Italy. Meloni jokingly said, "You shouldn't keep a woman like this waiting."
