In a cafe in Bahçelievler, Istanbul, four people were injured in a knife fight that reportedly broke out due to jealousy between a group gathered for a woman's birthday and another group. The boyfriend of the woman celebrating her birthday died after being taken to the hospital. The fight was captured on the workplace's security camera. Two suspects, including the attacker, who were detained in connection with the incident have been arrested.

BIRTHDAY PARTY DISRUPTED BY 'JEALOUSY' ARGUMENT
The incident occurred around 04:00 yesterday in Şirinevler neighborhood. According to allegations; Dovletmammet Ashyrov, a Turkmenistan national, gathered with friends at a cafe to celebrate his girlfriend's birthday. After a while, an argument broke out between Dovletmammet Ashyrov and customers at the cafe, Alembeg M. and his friend named Vefa, allegedly due to jealousy. The argument ended quickly after bystanders intervened.
KNIFE ATTACK ON THE STREET
After the birthday party, the argument resumed between Ashyrov and the two individuals as they left the cafe. With friends of both sides joining in, the incident escalated rapidly, and the parties attacked each other with knives in the middle of the street. During the fight, 4 people were injured, including the person using the knife. The injured attacker Alembeg M. fled by taxi. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
DIED AT THE HOSPITAL
Police teams from the Bahçelievler Police Department arrived at the scene, took security measures, and started an investigation. Dovletmammet Ashyrov, who was determined to be seriously injured with a stab to the neck, and his injured friend Mustapa M., along with the suspect known as Vefa from the opposing side, were taken to the hospital by ambulance after initial medical intervention. Ashyrov died at the hospital despite all efforts by doctors.

The suspect Alembeg M., who was determined to have fled the scene by taxi, was caught by police teams at Şirinevler Square. Alembeg M. was taken into custody after his treatment at the hospital.

2 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
After police procedures, 2 suspects, including the attacker Alembeg M., were referred to the courthouse and arrested by the Duty Magistrate Judge, then sent to prison.
