In the Etimesgut district of Ankara, a 17-year-old youth stabbed 16-year-old K.A. multiple times to death in a park fight after seeing him with his ex-girlfriend. While moments of health teams performing CPR on a stretcher for severely injured K.A. were captured on cameras, the murder suspect and his father were taken into custody.
Ankara's Etimesgut district witnessed a chilling murder last night. In an incident that occurred in a park in Şeyh Şamil neighborhood, a 17-year-old youth, overwhelmed by jealousy, caused terror.
HE WENT CRAZY AFTER SEEING HIS EX-GIRLFRIEND
According to the information gathered, the incident took place in the neighborhood park last night. The 17-year-old suspect, whose name has not yet been learned, saw his ex-girlfriend sitting with 16-year-old K.A. in the park. A verbal argument began between the angered suspect and K.A.
As the argument quickly escalated into a fight, the enraged attacker stabbed K.A. multiple times in various parts of his body. The child, covered in blood, collapsed to the ground, while the suspect fled the scene.
CPR ON THE STRETCHER CAUGHT ON CAMERA
After nearby citizens, in horror, alerted the police and medical teams, units were dispatched to the area. Medical personnel arriving at the scene performed first aid on the severely injured K.A. in the park.
The moments when medical staff administered CPR on the stretcher for minutes to revive the critically injured child were recorded second by second on the citizens' mobile phone cameras. Despite all the doctors' interventions, the unfortunate child, rushed to the hospital by ambulance, could not be saved and died.
SUSPECT AND HIS FATHER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
The 17-year-old suspect, who disappeared after the murder, was quickly apprehended as a result of a swift investigation by the Ankara Police. As the investigation deepened, it was learned that the murder suspect's father was also taken into custody by police teams.
While the procedures for the suspects taken to the police station continue, a comprehensive investigation into the incident is ongoing.
