SHARES ON THE IBB CASE SUBJECT TO INVESTIGATION
Journalist Kayhan Ayhan, detained within the scope of the investigation led by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, faced scrutiny over his news reports and social media posts regarding the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) corruption case heard in Silivri.
REFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE
After procedures were completed at the Istanbul Police Department on Vatan Avenue, Ayhan was subsequently referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan.
AR REST REQUESTED
Ayhan, who gave his statement to the prosecutor's office, was referred to the duty Criminal Judgeship of Peace with a request for his arrest on charges of "publicly disseminating misleading information."
