In a post made by the Provincial Police Department on the account of the US-based company X's social media platform, it was stated, 'In the Trabzonspor-Beşiktaş match played in our province on 19.10.2026, the identity of the person who caused a fan to be injured by lighting and throwing a flare, as well as the identities of the other persons who lit flares, have been identified and a judicial investigation has been launched against them.'
NO TOLERANCE FOR VIOLENCE AND DISORDER
In the post, which also included a video showing the throwing of a flare onto the pitch after it was lit, it was emphasized that violence and disorder in sports venues will absolutely not be tolerated.
