In Aydın, 5 of 9 suspects who were detained after it was determined that they had purchased child pornography content for money through a messaging app were arrested by the court they were brought before.
In an operation conducted against suspects determined to have purchased child pornography content online in exchange for money in Aydın, 5 of the 9 people taken into custody were arrested and sent to prison.
CYBER CRIMES SPRANG INTO ACTION
Within the scope of the investigation coordinated by the Aydın Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and conducted by the Department of Combating Cyber Crimes, a detention order was issued for 11 suspects determined to have sold child pornography content through a messaging app and to have purchased this data in exchange for money. During simultaneous raids on the identified addresses, 9 suspects were caught, and a large amount of digital material was seized during the searches.
5 SUSPECTS SENT TO PRISON
One of the suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, was released, while İ.A., Y.K., A.K., D.A., and A.A. out of the 8 people referred to the courthouse were arrested by the court they were brought before. The other 3 suspects were released under judicial control conditions.
