Justice Minister Akın Gürlek revealed for the first time the instructions given to him by President Erdoğan immediately after his appointment. Minister Gürlek stated that Erdoğan told him, "Work, Akın." Referring to the protests that took place in the Parliament, Gürlek said, "This is not just about Akın Gürlek; this is about Turkey."
TGRT News Ankara Representative Fatih Atik brought the meeting he had with Akın Gürlek, who was appointed from the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to the Ministry of Justice, to his column today.

Atik stated, "When I visited our new Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek for a congratulatory visit, I had the opportunity to interview him." According to Atik, Minister Gürlek stood out with his calm and composed manner. Amidst the busyness, he gave the impression that he knew what he was doing with his confident stance.

Referring to the protests in the Parliament, Minister Gürlek stated, "It's not about Akın Gürlek; it's about Turkey," reiterating that as the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Turkey, his door is open to everyone.
