Kaan Tangöze, the lead singer of the band Duman, who was detained as part of a drug investigation involving celebrities, tested positive for drugs.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued detention orders for 25 suspects on February 17 as part of its investigation into drug use and prostitution involving famous individuals. The investigation file included charges of "Using Narcotic Substances," "Encouraging and Facilitating Prostitution," and "Facilitating the Use of Narcotic or Stimulant Substances."
Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Narcotic Crimes Division detained 21 suspects. They took the suspects to the Forensic Medicine Institution for drug testing, collecting blood, hair, and urine samples. After processing at the police station, the suspects were referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan.
5 NAMES SENT TO PRISON
After the prosecutor's statements, the on-duty magistrate Barış Talay issued arrest warrants for Dilara Kırmıt, Ramazan Bayar, Tolga Kulakçı, and Tolga Sezgin. The five individuals were sent to prison.
JUDICIAL CONTROL DECISION FOR 12 PEOPLE
Among those released under judicial control were former national boxer Adem Kılıçcı, Murat Öztürk, and social media influencer Aygül Aydın. Actor İsmail Hacıoğlu, fashion designer Kemal Doğulu, and Duman band lead singer Kaan Tangöze were released without judicial control.

It was learned that Kaan Tangöze's drug test (marijuana-THC) result was positive as part of the investigation.
