Kayserispor, relegated from the Trendyol Super Lig, will appeal to FIFA and UEFA, stating that the TFF hastily registered the leagues and arguing that a fair competitive environment was not ensured.

Kayserispor Club, which was relegated from the Trendyol Super League to a lower division, announced that it will appeal to FIFA and UEFA following the Turkish Football Federation's (TFF) ratification of the leagues.

THEY WILL FILE A COMPLAINT

In the statement made by the club, it was announced that the TFF ratified the leagues hastily, disregarding all customary practices, and that they will inform UEFA and FIFA about the developments. The club's statement said: "For our club, justice and equality are the two fundamental pillars that uphold the concept of fair competition. The absence of even one of these elements eliminates the essence of football and the legitimacy of sporting competition. Our club once again emphasizes that in an environment where a fair and equal competitive approach is not established, the game played on the field does not carry sporting reality. In this process, which the public has closely followed, we regret to state that our club's calls for 'establishing a fair and equal competitive environment,' which have received support from all corners of our country, were not taken into account by the Turkish Football Federation; on the contrary, the leagues were hastily ratified with an approach disregarding all customary practices.

However, the response of the Turkish Football Federation, which is the regulatory and supervisory body of football, to the demand for fair and equal competition should not have been this. Therefore, our club has deemed it necessary to inform FIFA and UEFA about the developments in our country. A fair and equal competitive environment is an indispensable element of football. The sole factor that makes football meaningful and valuable for millions is that every team's chance of winning depends solely on the effort put forth on the field. Where this principle disappears, it is impossible to speak of the spirit of football or genuine sporting competition," the statement included.
