Workers employed by KFC Turkey and Pizza Hut, which are affiliated with İş Gıda and have declared concordat, staged a protest in front of the company's headquarters in Istanbul.
The operator of KFC and Pizza Hut brands, İş Gıda, which has thousands of branches across Turkey, declared concordat last week due to a debt of 7.7 billion lira. Following the concordat, a protest was held in front of the company's headquarters in Kavacık, Istanbul, where more than 7,000 workers are employed.

More than 500 workers gathered in front of the headquarters, demanding their rights to be paid. The workers, who stated that they have been victimized, expressed that they have been kept waiting and called on the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
"WE WILL NOT LEAVE OUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE TO ANYONE"
The workers, who noted that their problems have not been resolved for weeks and that the source of the problem is not themselves, said, "How can you watch approximately 25,000 people, along with their families, being left in victimization and hunger? We share with the public that we will not leave our children's future and the value of our years of labor to anyone."
