In Iran, where the economy has collapsed further due to the war with the USA and public backlash is high, religious leader Mojtaba Khamenei has made a statement after a long time. Khamenei said he has banned any action that would harm Iran's social cohesion.
Iranian leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei stated that any action that would harm Iran's social cohesion is "absolutely forbidden," and called on the government to focus on domestic production and reducing the role of the US dollar in the face of American economic pressures.
KHAMENEI'S STATEMENT AFTER A LONG TIME
Iranian leader Khamenei issued a message on the occasion of "Government Week."
Appreciating the efforts of the Iranian government despite US-Israel plans, sanctions, and blockades, Khamenei called on the government to seriously focus on inflation, unemployment, market management, growth, investment, increasing domestic production, and reducing the role of the US dollar in Iran's economy.
"THE KEY TO THE SOLUTION IS DOMESTIC PRODUCTION"
Khamenei stated that the key to solving economic problems lies in the "resistance economy" and relying more on domestic production, noting that imports should be used wisely when domestic production is insufficient.
The Iranian leader argued that hostile actions against the country could have economic and other consequences, but their impact could be limited through more effective and intelligent management.
"ANY ACTION IS FORBIDDEN"
Stating that all officials must prioritize the preservation of national unity and social cohesion, Khamenei said, "Undoubtedly, discourses that have directly or indirectly harmed our dear people in the past, weakened national and public motivations, and created imaginary dichotomies, such as war or negotiation, compromise or extremism, concession or warmongering, may have the same effect from now on. Therefore, I declare that any action that harms social cohesion is absolutely forbidden."
Khamenei warned that clearly emphasizing "weaknesses and shortcomings" could benefit the country's enemies and stressed the importance of highlighting Iran's strength.
