Iran's religious leader Mojtaba Khamenei made his first statement regarding the agreement reached with the USA. Khamenei said, 'I actually had a different view on the agreement, but due to President Pezeshkian's commitment, in his capacity as Chairman of the Supreme National Security Council, to protect the rights of the Iranian nation and the resistance front on behalf of himself and its members, and because of the promises they made to me and their clear declarations to take on this responsibility, I allowed it.'
