Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the chairmanship of the CHP by court order, clarified his remarks regarding his party, stating, "I apologize for not noticing FETÖ agents." Kılıçdaroğlu explained that some individuals he did not know in the past were later revealed to be FETÖ members, and he made those remarks in a purely human context, referring to those people.
After the court's 'absolute nullity' decision, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the CHP General Chairmanship, made striking statements about his party's agenda and the crisis in his first television program after a year.
CLARIFICATION ON 'FETÖ' OUTBURST
Speaking on Sözcü TV live broadcast, Kılıçdaroğlu was asked about his outburst regarding his party: 'I apologize to you for not noticing in time the FETÖ agents who sold their souls and slyly infiltrated the sacred march I started for the salvation, justice, and bright future of this nation.'
Kılıçdaroğlu said the following: 'Now why did I say this. The information you provided is correct. At that time, FETÖ had newspapers and television channels. Ekrem Bey was also hosting sports programs there. We never made such an accusation.
Özgür Bey made a statement, referring to the MİT undersecretary: 'We receive many applications from CHP's overseas offices. We requested intelligence support from MİT to prevent FETÖ or terrorist organizations from infiltrating CHP during membership recruitment.' I drew attention to this. What is wrong with that?
“NO POLITICAL PARTY CAN OBTAIN REPORTS FROM MİT ABOUT ITS MEMBERS”
They requested support from MİT to prevent FETÖ members from entering. I am asking who these people are. Some names I did not know in the past turned out to be FETÖ members. I was referring to these names, of course. In a very humane manner.
No political party can obtain reports from MİT about its members. Such a thing cannot be requested.'
