In a program he guest-starred on, former CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu spoke about his statement, "I was stabbed in the back," and responded to Kılıçdaroğlu's words, "Your road companion should not betray you," with a reply from CHP Chairman Özgür Özel. Former CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who participated in the live broadcast of KRT TV the day before yesterday, stated in response to a question about his remark "I was stabbed in the back," that "Your companion should not betray you. If there is any doubt or differing opinion, it can be easily expressed and criticized."
A RESPONSE TO THOSE WORDS FROM ÖZEL
After Kılıçdaroğlu's statement, the eyes turned to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who stated that he did not take those words personally. In his statement, Özel said, "I never took Kemal Bey's words 'Your companion should not betray you' personally, I never did because I never did."
"THAT PHOTO DOES NOT CHANGE"
Continuing his remarks, Özel stated that they would have a meeting with İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu and ABB President Mansur Yavaş, saying, "Tomorrow, at an appropriate time and place, we will talk with İmamoğlu and Yavaş. The photo of Ekrem President and Mansur President raising each other's hands, giving hope to Turkey, does not change. If we take a step back from that photo, they will bring Turkey to its knees. We are aware of this."
"IF ERDOĞAN READS THAT POEM, I WILL TAKE MY WORD BACK"
Özel also clarified his remarks directed at President Erdoğan, saying, "The ignorant of Allah knows neither Brecht nor poetry nor art nor culture." He added, "My response to Erdoğan will be within these limits. If he is not ignorant, let him show what he knows. If Erdoğan reads Brecht's poem 'The Bread of the People,' I will take my word back."
