Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu visited Ekrem İmamoğlu, who has been arrested, at Silivri Prison. Speaking to the press after the visit, Kılıçdaroğlu stated that İmamoğlu came to the meeting with a notebook and a pen, saying, "I found Mr. Ekrem to be in very good spirits. We discussed the issues concerning Turkey. He took some notes."

KILIÇDAROĞLU'S VISIT TO İMAMOĞLU IN PRISON
Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu visited Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was arrested in a corruption investigation, at Silivri Prison. After the visit, Kılıçdaroğlu made statements to reporters outside the prison.
"I SAW HIM IN VERY GOOD SPIRITS"
Kılıçdaroğlu, who stated that he saw İmamoğlu in good spirits, said: "I saw Mr. Ekrem in very good spirits. The basis of his morale is his belief in his own righteousness. He is right in his struggle, in his case. Entering prison in this environment, especially while being the Mayor of Istanbul, is not right. It is not a correct behavior in terms of democracy and human rights."
"I WILL COME AGAIN NEXT WEEK"
We discussed Turkey's issues; he took some notes as he had already brought his notebook. The history of humanity is the history of struggles for justice. Our duty is to bring true justice to this country. We must avoid any action that would unjustly benefit this struggle. Those who do not think like us also want justice in this country. Many respected people are imprisoned in Silivri. I will come again next week and will visit others besides Mr. Ekrem."
