It was alleged that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was appointed as the Chairman of the CHP by a court decision, would dismiss Özgür Özel from his position as group chairman. The backstage information was conveyed by journalist Mustafa Yavuz, who was a CHP parliamentary candidate and expelled from the party.
After the absolute nullity decision, the management crisis continues in the CHP, and a bombshell claim that will closely concern the political agenda has emerged. According to the claim, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the CHP General Chairmanship with the court's absolute nullity decision, is making a critical move.
KILIÇDAROĞLU'S CRITICAL 'ÖZGÜR ÖZEL' MOVE
Speaking on a program on TGRT, journalist Mustafa Yavuz claimed that Kılıçdaroğlu would remove Özgür Özel, the CHP Group Chairman and Manisa Deputy, from his group chairmanship. Yavuz also claimed that group elections would be held in the CHP on Monday.
Mustafa Yavuz brought the claim circulating in CHP corridors to the agenda with the words, "Kılıçdaroğlu will remove Özgür Özel and the group deputy chairs from their duties. He will not make an appointment in their place."
"THE NAME TO REPLACE HIM IS CLEAR"
Journalist Mehmet Faraç also confirmed Mustafa Yavuz's claims, saying, "The new group chairman to replace Özgür Özel is clear." Faraç asserted that the person in question is a very established figure in the CHP.
EYES ON THE CENTRAL EXECUTIVE BOARD (MYK)
Meanwhile, it has also been claimed that new measures regarding the party organization are on the agenda in the CHP. Accordingly, while it is claimed that the party administration is preparing a comprehensive change to ensure discipline in the organizations, eyes are turned to the Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting to be held today at 14:00.
According to information from Yeni Şafak based on backstage sources, a new step is expected to be taken in the process where 36 provincial chairs have been removed from duty so far. It is claimed that the removal of approximately 10 more provincial chairs will come to the agenda in the MYK meeting. It is stated that the Trabzon, Afyonkarahisar, and Rize provincial chairs are among the names claimed to be removed.
NEW DISCIPLINARY DECISIONS ON THE TABLE
Among the allegations being put forward is that some provincial chairs, who have come to the fore with their statements against the party administration, may also be referred to a disciplinary process by the MYK decision.
It is noted that new appointments are planned for a significant portion of the approximately 20 provincial chairmanships, whose former chairs were removed but have not yet been replaced, at the MYK meeting.
It is being discussed that after the change in provincial chairmanships is completed, a similar process will be reflected in district organizations. According to claims, the new provincial chairs appointed by the General Headquarters will play an active role in determining district chairs. Among the allegations, it is also claimed that reports could be prepared on district chairs deemed to be acting incompatibly with the party administration, and the disciplinary mechanism could be activated.
