Bahar, which is airing its third season on Show TV, bids farewell to the screens with its 64th episode. The series, which received great acclaim in its first season, experienced a decline in ratings this season and its airing day was moved from Tuesday to Sunday. Although it has been performing above average, the decision for Bahar's finale did not take long.
After the finale, a viewer tweeted targeting Hayal Köseoğlu, who plays the character Maral in the series. Since the day she joined the show, Köseoğlu has been the focus of criticism. The Maral character, who caused the separation of Seren and Aziz Uras and later married Aziz, had gathered the viewers' anger. Additionally, scenes in which Aziz and Maral kiss and the incident where Seren angrily leaves the hospital only to be hit by a car also drew reactions.
"DENYING ONE'S EFFORT IS A DISGUSTING THING"
The tweet included the words, "Every series where Hayal Köseoğlu plays the role of the cunning blonde girl brought in against the main character will taste death."
In response to all these criticisms, Köseoğlu gave a strong reply on social media, stating, "I normally never respond to such things, but denying a person's effort is a disgusting thing. I joined Hudutsuz Sevda and played exactly 49 episodes. We were almost first in total every week. When I joined Bahar, it was already clear that it would be filmed until December, and Bahar generally experienced an increase despite the matches. We were first in the AB for several weeks. It is very silly to treat a series that received green arrows in three groups on the changing day of its last episode as if it ended because of ratings. It was going to end; it was already clear that it would last this long, and it did. It has nothing to do with me or anything else. I don't want to remember this beautiful series, which I worked on with great love and happiness and could never get enough of, with such ungrateful comments. Thank you," she expressed.
