BLOODSHED AT THE MOSQUE BEFORE EVENING PRAYER
According to the information obtained, the incident took place before the evening prayer at Saraycik Mosque in Saraycik Neighborhood, Kocasinan district. M.A., who is alleged to have psychological issues, attacked Musa Y. and Zubeyir T., who came for prayer, with a knife.
TWO PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES AT THE SCENE
Upon notification, numerous gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Gendarmerie teams took extensive security measures in the area, while medical teams determined that Musa Y. and Zubeyir T. had lost their lives at the scene.
After the teams' investigations at the scene, the bodies of the two deceased were taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy procedures.
SUSPECT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
M.A., who is alleged to have carried out the attack, was captured and taken into custody by gendarmerie teams. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
